Hank von Hell is best known for his time as lead singer of Turbonegro.  He left the band some eight years ago, and although he released one album in 2011 with a project he put together with Tim Skold (Marilyn Manson, Shotgun Messiah, KMFDM) called Doctor Midnight & The Mercy Cult, he’s been relatively quiet since.  Until now, he is about to release his first solo album entitled Egomania.

The first single for the album “Bum To Bum” was released back in August. Hank received some notoriety thanks to the movie and MTV show Jackass, and it is only fitting that Steve O appears in the video encouraging the artist to make his return:

“Blood” was released in late September, it harkens back to Hank’s time in Turbonegro with a modern rock production.

And just last week he released “Pretty Decent Exposure”.

Egomania drops November 2nd.
