I remember seeing Metallica back in the 1980s. There was an energy and youthfulness that very few could touch, a true sense that this is the new sh*t. Make no mistake, these guys were the trailblazers, more so than any other band.
I usually don’t get too excited by poor quality bootleg footage but this is definitely awesome. The camera shakes but just listen to how good this band sounded in 1989. No wonder they went on to become one of the biggest rock bands ever. Check out the clip I am referring to below. It’s the classic tune “Harvest Of Sorrow” shot in a tiny college bar.
