Yesterday Kiss Online’s Keith Leroux posted to his Facebook about seeing Kiss’ End Of The Road stage, well 3/4th of the stage. If his post doesn’t get you pumped up for seeing the tour, I don’t know what will. Here are some of the items he discusses that stood out to me the most:
- He’s only seen 75% of the stage, and that alone is massive. The rest of the stage could not fit in the venue. Here is a quote from his post, “As I approached the floor of the venue and glanced to my right to witness the massive new KISS stage, I was instantly overwhelmed.”
- He mentions how he then proceeded to sit in on production team running through various parts of the show. He states “Bigger than anything KISS has ever down! It’s coupled with technology and amazing lighting and graphics. It was so much more than I ever expected!”
- The next day he meets the band at the venue and records their reactions, which he claims are identical to his when first seeing the stage in person. So you know this is going to be something special. About this mentioned “It was so wonderful to witness as the guys looked at their parts of the stage and to see it work after months of seeing it on paper. Their excitement confirmed to me what I was feeling was real!”
- He begins to close things out by mentioning an interaction he had with Paul via text: “Thanks for today, Paul. In the scope of things…probably the coolest thing to experience as a fan..to be with the band when seeing the final stage….awesome that KISS is going out roaring…so proud and excited!”Paul responded instantly with “Amazing!”
