Alice cooper has released a new song called “Don’t Give Up”. It is his way of sending a message of encouragement to his fans world wide during the current pandemic. The track was produced remotely by the legendary Bob Ezrin. Ezrin has worked with Alice on many occasions in the past. Most notably classic albums like Killer, Welcome To My Nightmare. He worked on the recently released Breadcrumbs EP. You get it, he’s Alice’s go to guy!

The song is Alice’s reaction to what’s going on in the world today. He himself is in isolation at this home. Because of this, he is taking advantage of this time to continue working on his upcoming full length album. But, he wanted to take time out to help encourage he fans. This is his call to all of this fans to say I’m with you. I know what you’re going through. We’re all in this together, let’s fight this together, let’s beat this together.

“‘Don’t Give Up’ is out today,” Cooper says. “It’s a song about what we’ve all been going through right now and about keeping our heads up and fighting back together. And whatever you do — Don’t Give Up!”

Two weeks ago, Cooper asked fans to be part of the video. He, and his band were filming separately during the quarantine. Over 20,000 fans submitted pictures of themselves. As you’ll seed from the video, they’re holding up signs and messages of unity, through the song’s lyrics.

A limited edition 7″ vinyl picture disc will be released on August 14. If you would like to pre-order it, you can from here.
