Ozzy Osbourne released Ordinary Man earlier this year. For all intents and purposes, the album was a success. I personally enjoyed the album, and still revisit it all the time. When the album was released, there were rumblings that another album would be in the works. The process between Ozzy and Andrew Watt seem to flow easily. Since he wouldn’t be touring, he’d have time to record new material Watt.

Ozzy’s wife and manager was just recently on Steve-O’s Wild Ride! and confirmed that the two are working on a follow up to Ordinary Man. She had this to say (transcribed by Blabbermouth.net):

“He’s starting his second album with [Ordinary Man producer] Andrew Watt right now. And you can’t stop him. He’s doing it.”

Of course there are now a million questions that pop into my head. Is his band with Zakk Wylde, Blasko, Adam Wakeman and Tommy Clufetus involved? Is it the same cast of characters that recorded Ordinary Man? Will there be any other collaborations? Will any of the Steve Stevens and Billy Morrison songs be used? Are they all new songs? When will it come out? I could go on and on!
